Peer Gynt, a curious and adventurous boy, one day makes his way to the other side of the forest, where he encounters a castle. Peer manages to slip into the fortress and passes from room to room as he marvels at the richness of what he sees. Then the boy turns a corner and runs into the owner of the castle. The angry Mountain King chases his uninvited guest as Peer searches for an open door and freedom.
